Color & correctionshe/her
The one people come to when something has gone wrong, and the one they stay with when it has not.
Oregon City, Oregon · Since 2017
Four chairs in a historic brick storefront on Main Street. One appointment at a time, a conversation before anything is decided, and a result you can do yourself on a Tuesday.
Tue – Sat, by appointment · 719 Main St, Oregon City
What we do
Prices start where they start because every appointment includes the consultation, the finish, and being shown how to do it again at home.
from $20
Every cut starts with a conversation and clean, dry hair, so we can see how it actually behaves before anything is decided.
from $55
We are a small team who take one color client at a time. That is slower and it is the reason the results look like this.
from $30
Add-ons that do something measurable. If one of these will not help you, we will say so rather than sell it.
from $65
Weddings, portraits, the evening you have been dreading. Booked well ahead, and rehearsed if it matters.
The room
The building has been on Main Street since the 1890s and we have tried not to argue with it — tall windows, original floors, four chairs and no more. There is no music you have to shout over and nobody is running behind, because we do not double-book.
You get a whole appointment: the conversation, the work, and the part at the end where we show you how to do it yourself. Twice, if you want.
The chairs
Everyone here has a specialty and their own following. If you are not sure who to see, book a consultation with whoever is free — they will send you to the right chair.

Precision cuttingthey/them
Cuts dry, cuts curly, and will happily spend twenty minutes on your fringe alone.
Balayage & lived-in blondeshe/her
Paints blonde that grows out gracefully, because nobody has time to come back every six weeks.
Occasion & editorial stylinghe/him
Weddings, portraits and the kind of updo that survives a whole reception.
Cuts book two to three weeks out and color three to four. Consultations are free, twenty minutes, and there is never any pressure at the end of one.
