Visit
719 Main Street
Downtown Oregon City, between 7th and 8th. Arched windows upstairs, gold lettering on the glass, a green door. Come in a few minutes early if you can — there is a chair by the window and usually coffee.

Your first visit
What actually happens
Come as you are
Please arrive with your hair the way you normally wear it — not freshly styled for us. We need to see how it falls, what it does at the crown, and where it goes flat by three in the afternoon.
We talk first
Every appointment opens with ten to fifteen minutes of conversation, dry hair, good light, mirror in hand. Bring photos of what you want and, just as usefully, photos of what you do not.
We tell you the truth
If what you have asked for will not work on your hair, or needs two visits instead of one, you will hear that before anything starts — along with what it will cost.
You leave able to repeat it
We show you how to do the finish yourself, twice, and write down what we used. No pressure to buy any of it.
Getting here
Parking in old town
Honestly: it is fine most of the time and briefly annoying on Saturday afternoons. Here is everything worth knowing.
Street parking on Main
Free, three-hour limit, and genuinely fine outside of Saturday afternoons and First Friday events.
The lot behind 7th
Two minutes’ walk, free, and almost always has room when Main does not. Turn off 7th and it is on your right.
Coming up from the river
The municipal elevator drops you a block and a half away and saves you the hill. It is free and it is the nicest way to arrive.
A note on color appointments
A full highlight runs two and a half hours. If you are parking on the street for one of those, use the lot instead — three hours goes faster than you think.
Before you come
Questions we get asked
- Do you take walk-ins?
- Rarely, and only for a fringe trim. We are four chairs and every appointment is timed to include the consultation, so booking ahead is the only way to be sure. Cancellations do come up — call and ask.
- How far ahead should I book?
- Two to three weeks for a cut, three to four for color, and a couple of months for anything bridal. December fills up by early November.
- What if I do not know which stylist to pick?
- Book a consultation with whoever has an opening. If they are not the right person for what you want, they will say so and walk you over to whoever is.
- Can I bring my child to my appointment?
- Yes, and there is a corner with books in it. For a color service running two hours or more, it is usually easier on everyone if you do not.
- What is your cancellation policy?
- Twenty-four hours, and we mean it kindly — a missed color appointment is half a stylist’s day. Life happens; tell us and we will sort it out.
